The short version

We respect your privacy. We collect only what we need to make Olivings work for you, we never sell your data, and we'll always be upfront about what we do with it.

What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address and any preferences you set (like favourite regions or price ranges). If you save properties to your favourites, we keep track of those too — so they're there when you come back.

We also collect basic usage data — things like which pages you visit and how you found us. This helps us understand what's working and what isn't. We don't track you across other websites.

How we use it

Your data helps us do three things: keep your account running, send you property alerts if you've opted in, and improve the site. That's it. We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Email alerts

If you turn on email alerts in your preferences, we'll occasionally send you new listings that match what you're looking for. You can turn these off at any time from your preferences page — no hoops to jump through.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We don't use advertising cookies or trackers from third-party ad networks.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time. You can also request a copy of everything we have on file for you. Just drop us an email at jesse@olivings.com and we'll sort it out.
